Schools & Charter Schools
We are
interested in becoming Vendor Course Instructors for all
Charter School and Homeschool organizations that provide
financial support for their students. We have been cleared
through the Livescan-DOJ-FBI process and understand that
each district or school may need a separate clearance. If
you know of any Charter Schools or other organizations that
pay for martial arts lessons and need us to go through the
clearance process before we can be an authorized service
provider, please Email the Guardian Academy. Thank you!
Many people who
seek alternative educational opportunities often do so for religious
reasons, because the parents firmly believe they can provide their
children with better education than is available in a normal school,
or both.
These families often seek out the Guardian Academy for three things:
1. Support
for Education
2. Support
for their Religion
3. Physical
Education/Self Defense
Spiritual Instruction

Support
for Education
Scot
Conway has a law degree and Ph.D.; he can speak strongly
to the value of education - not just to get a job, but to be
educated. He speaks of how he uses what he knows in virtually
every aspect of his life, and how surprised even he is at how
much he needs the things he never expected would be important.
Wendy Conway transferred to independent study through a charter school after 9th grade. She had learned academic skills, speed learning and speed reading, and she was ready to go faster than the normal public school would allow. She finished 10th, 11th and 12th grade in one year. She is now working steadily on a college degree.
Mariellen
True is the Director of the Del Rey Academy. She has a master's degree and is a homeschool mom.
Stewart True started college courses at the age of 16 while he was still finishing high school. He is now the Assistant Head Instructor and a student at USD.
At every turn, students see examples of academic achievement and support for their school.
Support
for their Religion
See Beliefs/Philosophies for
what we believe and teach. We work to strengthen belief in truth
and faith in God. We sometimes ask hard questions, but we also
provide answers to the challenging questions. We do not ask for
others to believe what we say, but to explore for themselves because
in the end, each of us stands alone before God, so we should seek
truth for ourselves. Others can teach and guide, but we have to
make sure what we believe is true.
The Guardian Martial Arts teach that martial artists promote peace and safety, not violence. We train to protect people, to stop evil, and we train to be safe in dangerous situations. When a Guardian Black Belt enters the room, everyone is safer. Violence is only used when evil acts make violence necessary to stop evil, and then we use only as much force as the criminal makes necessary.
Physical
Education/Self Defense
Students get
a physical workout, of course, and our Self Defense record is excellent. Young men and women learn the skills to protect themselves - and in the future they will be qualified to protect their families.
