TUITION CREDIT PROGRAM

We provide Generous Tuition Credit Program. If you are willing to do what the most successful people in the world do – we will invest in you. Our goal is your success!

We know what our program is worth, but we also understand the constraints of a family budget. The program for a family of six (mother, father, four children) costs $1200 a month. We have a STRONG preference to help a whole family. We know our program is much, much more powerful if everyone in the household trains. That way everyone has a common experience and a common frame of reference for family discussions.

Parents can lead much more effectively by using the classes as a tool. The obvious is that parents can show their children what self-discipline means by their own behavior in class. Children can see the parents’ attitude, desire to learn and grow, and how well the parents practice. Behaviors might be controllable by punishments and rewards, but right thinking is more caught than taught. Parents get to BE the example!

A less obvious, but VERY powerful technique is the common frame of reference. By learning the same things the children are learning, parents can guide discussions at home. When a principle in the Guardian Martial Arts reflects a need in the home, parents can use the lesson in class to discuss what the family needs to work on at home. Training together gives them a common vocabulary, something often lacking with a gap in generations.

We are unwilling to withhold training from family members simply over money. There is a saying from the Bible: You shall not serve God and money. If we know that we provide a good and powerful value, and we know that it is much, much more powerful if a whole family trains – we think it’s wrong to force a family to choose based solely upon money. That’s why we offer such a generous program.

There ARE strings attached, though. We know that people of character understand that if we only charge $200 a month for a $1200 a month program, that we are actually giving a family $1,000 a month. It’s exactly the same thing as handing the family a $1,000 check every month so they could pay full price. We WANT the whole family to train together, so this is what we do…

We credit for proactive self-leadership and family leadership. We are investing in people. We believe that investing in people is the single most important investment we can make. What we ask is that people invest in themselves and their families in a way that honors our investment.

We start with a trimester (about four months) credit. You let us know the level of discount you need. If we can accommodate you, we will do so. The starting credit lasts a minimum of three months and a maximum of six months. It’s based upon when our next scheduled trimester break is from when you start. If you need half price, we give you have price. If you need more than that, we give you more than that. You let us know. Our goal is that you and your whole family get to train.

During the initial discount period, you read and listen. All you need to do is read and report on a single book. Think about that. Four to six months to read a single book and write a one page report. For listening, we have a wide selection of audio programs. They typically have six CDs, and you write a report. We have a list of books and a list of audio programs that teach on money and how to make a lot more money.

If you complete the requirements, then you qualify for another four month credit. You can continue reading and continue listening to qualify for more and more discount periods. You can qualify up to three trimesters ahead for a full year discount credit.

We recommend the Head of the Household fulfill the requirements personally. It is far more helpful to a family if all adults and near-working age teens fulfill the requirements. The information in the books and audios will directly benefit whomever learns and takes action – so let that guide who reads and listens. You may even divide the responsibilities. If you do that, it is helpful if whomever reads shares what he’s learning with the rest of the family – same with whomever listens. The point is that the family get more information.

You add half your increase to your tuition payment. If your income does not increase at all, you pay nothing more. If your income rises by $500, then you increase your monthly payments by $250 or full price, whichever is lower. We want you to use half of your increase to take care of your family, pay down debt, invest, and make meaningful moments for your family. If we are picking up $1,000 a month of the household tuition, we expect to be paid full price only after your income increases by $2,000 a month.

We trust you. We will not ask for tax forms or pay stubs. If you tell us you’re making an extra $100 a month, we’re not going to ask for proof. If you say that your income is the same, we take your word for it. Your word is good enough for us. We are teaching people of character to have a Warrior Ethic. It is therefore most appropriate for us to trust your words.

The most successful people in the world do this. People who make more than a quarter million dollars a year attend expensive training retreats where they do physical activities to learn principles to take back to work – and we are doing that twice a week for almost the whole year. People who are the rising stars in their career have transformed their car into a classroom and listen to audios during their commute. People leading growing, thriving businesses are readers, typically reading a book a month.

Duplicate the habits of the super-successful, and what do you imagine your life will become on your way to Black Belt?

Extra Favors are up to you. Most people who use our Tuition Credit Program are interested in doing something for us. There are the obvious, of course. We have bathrooms, windows, mirrors and tables to be cleaned. We have mats and carpets to be vacuumed.

On a regular basis, we might have maintenance that needs doing. This might include changing bulbs, ceiling tiles, and painting. We might need miscellaneous tasks done, like organizing, filing, mailings, or any number of special projects. We might be able to use people with carpentry skills, electrical skills, HVAC skills, or duct cleaning skills.

Depending upon what project we have underway, we may need videographers, a photographer, someone who can edit and produce DVDs, CDs, and who can burn them or press them. We may need website work on any of our connected websites. We could always use people who can get positive information about us on bulletin boards, blogs, networking sites, and who know how to handle podcasting, YouTube and other online audio and video sites. If you are tech savvy, we could always use your help!

Of course, we could always use referrals. Even if the families you are inviting also need to make generous use of our Tuition Credit Program, is they are proactive families ready to take their lives to the next level – we would LOVE to have them join you at the Guardian Academy.
